Best News Theme is a small, independent team. We build themes and CMS software for news publishers, and we run our own news websites, so the work is practical and close to real readers. We like people who take pride in clean code, clear writing and products that simply work.

Open positions

There are no open positions at the moment. We do not post roles just to collect applications. When we need someone, we will list the role here first.

We do keep a short list of good people. If you think you would be a great fit for one of the areas below, we would be glad to hear from you at any time.

Areas where we may need help

• WordPress and PHP developers. Theme and plugin development, performance work, security reviews, and building features for our news CMS.
• Front-end designers. Clean, fast, accessible interfaces for news layouts, mobile first.
• Hindi and English content writers. Product documentation, tutorials, release notes and blog articles about publishing and SEO.
• Support specialists. Helping customers install, set up and update our products, with patience and clear explanations.
• Quality testers. Careful testing of releases on different hosting set-ups and devices.

How we like to work

• Quality over speed of shipping. We would rather ship one feature that works everywhere than three that work sometimes.
• Clear communication. Write things down, explain your decisions, ask when something is unclear.
• Ownership. You look after your work from the idea to the support ticket.
• Respect for the customer. Our customers are publishers with deadlines. We make their day easier.

• whether you are looking for full-time work, part-time work or freelance projects.

We read every message. If there is a match, we will reply and arrange a short conversation and, where it makes sense, a small paid trial task. We do not ask applicants to do unpaid work.
