Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Last updated: 11 October 2026
Your privacy matters to us. This page explains your choices about the sale and sharing of your personal information, and how to exercise your rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar US state laws.
Our commitment
- We do not sell your personal information. We have never sold personal information for money or for other valuable consideration, and we do not plan to.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not run advertising or retargeting campaigns based on what you do on the Store, and we do not give your information to advertising networks or data brokers.
- We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
If this ever changes, we will update this page first and give you a clear way to opt out before any sale or sharing starts.
What we collect and why
In the last 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information, only for the business purposes shown:
- Identifiers (name, email address, IP address, account ID): to run your account, deliver your purchase and keep the Store secure.
- Commercial information (products bought, order and invoice records): to deliver and support your purchase and to meet tax law.
- Billing details (billing address, state, GSTIN): to issue GST invoices.
- Internet activity (pages visited, device and browser data): to keep the Store working and to understand how it is used.
- Licence and website data (licence key, website address, product version): to check licences and deliver updates.
- Your messages (contact form and support tickets): to answer you.
We share this information only with the service providers described in our Privacy Policy: our payment partner, our email provider, our hosting providers and, if switched on, Google Analytics for visit statistics. They may use the information only to provide their service to us.
Your choices
- Opt out of analytics. You can stop Google Analytics from measuring your visits with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser. See the Cookie Policy.
- Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your personal information.
- Request to know, delete or correct. You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to delete it or ask us to correct it.
- Request to opt out. Even though we do not sell or share personal information, you can send us an opt-out request and we will record it against your account.
How to make a request
Write to support@bestnewstheme.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share" (or "Privacy request") from the email address on your account, or use the Contact page. Please tell us your name, your account email and what you would like us to do.
To protect your account, we will ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from your account email. You may also use an authorised agent. In that case, we may ask for proof that you gave the agent permission. We aim to reply within 7 working days, and to complete the request within 45 days, or within the time the law allows.
No unfair treatment
If you use any of these rights, we will not deny you products, charge you a different price or give you a lower quality of service.
