Description
DeeEx News CMS is a standalone news website system for Hindi and regional-language publishers. It runs on ordinary PHP + MySQL hosting, needs no WordPress, and its admin panel works the way WordPress users already know: posts, categories, tags, media, menus, users and settings.
The front end is a clean, newspaper-style design: a big lead story, a "Latest News" column, Most Popular, a dark Videos band and colour-coded sections, so every section (National, Sports, Business…) has its own colour like a printed newspaper. It works on phones, tablets and computers, and has a dark mode.
Newsrooms get the tools they use every day: Breaking news that switches itself off after the time you choose, Live blogs that update for readers without reloading the page, Video and Photo gallery stories, Top story for the homepage lead, and a Newsdesk menu that puts all of it in one place. Editors can also update today's petrol, diesel and CNG prices by city and gold and silver prices, shown in the sidebar.
SEO is built in: NewsArticle, LiveBlogPosting and VideoObject schema, Google News sitemap, WordPress-style XML sitemaps, canonical URLs, Open Graph and breadcrumbs. URLs are WordPress-compatible, and the WordPress importer brings over posts, categories, tags, authors, comments, images and Yoast / Rank Math SEO fields, so moving from WordPress keeps your links working.
The website language can be Hindi, English, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam or Urdu (right-to-left). Hindi and English come fully translated.
Updates arrive inside the admin panel: when a new version is out, click Update now. Your config.php, uploads and content are never touched, a backup is made first, and a failed update is rolled back.

Layout stability (CLS): the Noto Sans Devanagari font now loads with font-display: optional, so text no longer jumps when the font arrives late.
The logo image gets width and height from its file, so the header no longer moves while the logo loads.

What's new in 1.0.33
Photos: caption, credit (new) and alt text are now filled in one place, the photo window that opens when choosing or clicking a photo. They are also editable in Media Library.
Post editor: removed the separate "Photo caption" and "Photo credit" fields under the featured image.
Photos inside stories: the "Photo in the story" window no longer asks for caption and alt again. It keeps size, position and link. When changing a photo already in a story, its caption, credit and alt are saved with the photo.
Story photos show "caption · Photo: credit" under the picture. Captions saved by earlier versions keep showing.
Database: new "credit" column for photos, added automatically on update.

- Scheduled stories now go live on time even when the page cache is on; feeds and sitemaps update the moment a story is published.
- Section, tag, state/city, author and Videos/Photos/Live pages with no stories yet are kept out of Google (noindex) until they have news.
